India-Jordan relations
India ranks as Jordan's fourth largest trade partner, following Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and China. This significant economic relationship is primarily governed by a bilateral trade agreement established in 1976. In the fiscal year 2014-15, the total bilateral trade between India and Jordan reached an impressive US$2.228 billion, marking a modest increase of $12 million from the previous fiscal year. India exported goods worth $1.431 billion to Jordan, while its imports totaled around $857 million. Since the fiscal year of 2012-13, the trade balance has consistently favored India, indicating a robust trade relationship.
